Schlieren ZH – VirtaMed has been awarded the Export Award by Switzerland Global Enterprise. The surgical training simulators of the company from the Greater Zurich Area are already in use in 50 countries. The jury was impressed by its smart export strategy.

Neuhausen am Rheinfall SH – For the past year, a driverless bus has been on the roads in the center of Neuhausen am Rheinfall. Integrated into the public transport network, there has been widespread acceptance among passengers for this vehicle. Now, a new four-wheel drive vehicle has been introduced. The test route is being extended.
Finnova cooperating with Taxsource
Horgen ZH/Lenzburg – The two fintech companies Finnova and Taxsource are joining forces. Finnova is integrating a Taxsource service for tax reporting into its banking software. Three banks have already become the first to use this shared reporting solution for their clients.

Zurich – The University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich (HWZ) is launching the Executive MBA in Digital Leadership Program. Executives are to improve their knowledge of digital technologies and new management approaches. The program includes trips to China and the USA.
US real estate company puts its trust in blockimmo
Zug – Blockchain-powered startup blockimmo from Crypto Valley has acquired a US client. The Bricks + Mortar Group, which specializes in cannabis real estate brokerage, will use the blockimmo platform for transactions.
Designwerk manufacturing in the Greater Zurich Area
Winterthur – The electromobility firm Designwerk has opened new production facilities in Winterthur. Electric trucks and rapid charging devices are to be manufactured at this site. This development comes on the back of a restructuring of the company.
Humabs BioMed opens new research laboratory
Bellinzona - Humabs BioMed has inaugurated a new research laboratory in Bellinzona. Two years ago, the Ticino-based biotech company was taken over by US corporation Vir Biotechnology, which is now investing in Humabs BioMed’s home town with the new laboratory.
