Zurich - Researchers from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich have developed a new method for the measurement of protein distribution on cell surfaces. These insights could lead to the development of innovative cancer drugs, among other aspects.

Sulzer facilitates creation of building panels from Tide ocean plastic
Winterthur/Rapperswil-Jona SG/Basel - Sulzer and the University of Applied Sciences for Eastern Switzerland (OST) have helped to create a new area of application for Tide’s ocean plastic. In addition to textiles, plastic injection molding, and 3D printing, now expanded PET foam panels can be manufactured using this for construction and packaging.

Zurich universities offer new degree in brain sciences
Zurich - The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and the University of Zurich are jointly offering a new interdisciplinary Master’s degree in brain sciences starting in the autumn of 2022. Students complete the two-year program with a joint Master’s degree from both universities.
