Winners of the Food Tech Award set to be named
Kloten/Lugano - The 12 finalists of the Food Tech Award 2022 will present their innovative solutions in front of a jury on October 26 at the Microsoft Switzerland headquarters. The final is being organized by the Lifestyle Tech Competence Center. The shortlisted finalists also include four start-ups based in Switzerland.

ETH moves up ranking of world’s top universities
Zurich/London - The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH) has moved up in the World University Ranking 2023 compiled by Times Higher Education, from 15th last year to rank 11. It scored highly in the areas of research and international outlook. The rankings also include the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, the University of Zurich and the Zurich University of Applied Sciences.
Amberg Technologies supplying Pandrol with track measurement system

Switzerland ranks at top of the most innovative countries in Europe
Brussels - In the European Innovation Scoreboard 2022 compiled by the European Commission, Switzerland once again receives the highest score for its innovative strength. Factors like international scientific co-publications or lifelong learning continue to be strengths, while the country could increase in criteria such as the number of venture capital expenditures, high-tech goods exports and government support for business R&D.
NTT DATA opts for Nexxiot cargo sensors
Zurich/Tokyo - NTT Data has placed an order with Nexxiot for more than 600,000 Cargo Monitors for shipping containers. The Nexxiot solution can be used to monitor transportation conditions and is able to supply data for automated cargo insurance payments in the event of damage.
