The Zurich-based InsurTech operation dacadoo and the Colombian insurance firm Seguros Bolívar have entered into a partnership: According to a press release, Seguros Bolívar is adapting the digital health platform developed by dacadoo. The company focuses on using everyday means to promote the health of its customers and prevent diseases, explains Javier Suárez, President of Seguros Bolívar. The platform should be live before the end of March.
The technological basis of the platform comprises 300 million person-years of clinical data, according to information from dacadoo. It combines digital health coaching with gamification and social media functionalities. At its core is an award-winning index that calculates current status and quantifies health risks. This index can be improved by implementing healthier habits on a daily basis. The platform is now being used by more than 35 of the 100 largest life and health insurance firms around the world, according to dacadoo.
“We are delighted to agree this partnership with Seguros Bolívar”, comments dacadoo President and CEO Peter Ohnemus. He adds: “We pride ourselves on making our technology available and working to make digital health platforms a success for customers”.
